No matter your inner turmoil, you will find an overbearing peace that makes you know that life will be alright. The monks and kangaroos who roam the place are such kind individuals and I’m happy to come across Bhikkhu Sunyo and Anagarika Dylan who happily discussed any questions I had about the monastic life and the history of the place. Ajahn Brahm is such an amazing individual too! He brings you down to earth with him with a funny insightful joke or two. I also love the high quality free distribution provided around the monastery. Improved my practice as they are an easy and enjoyable read. Finally, I find it moving to pay close attention at the memorial plagues sprinkled all over the monastery. It’s like death meditation and reminds us of the impermanence of life. Perth is lucky to have Bodhinyana!
